Pro Artist is Blushington's term for our trained hair stylists, makeup artists, and skincare specialists. Every service at Blushington — blowouts, makeup application, wig styling, and skincare treatments — is delivered by a Pro Artist trained in that specialty.

A blow dry bar is a beauty destination focused on professional blowouts — wash, style, and finish services done by trained stylists, without cutting or coloring. At Blushington, our blow dry bar experience is paired with makeup application and skincare treatments, so you can book a full beauty routine in one visit instead of separate appointments at separate places.

Is there a skincare treatment or facial near me at Blushington?

Yes. Skincare treatments, including the BeautyRx Peel, are available at all Blushington locations — New York City, Houston, and Boca Raton. Blushington does not offer facials.  For many guests, the BeautyRx Peel is an easy monthly treatment to help maintain brighter, smoother, healthier-looking skin. Your skincare routine and goals may determine the frequency that's right for you.

What's the difference between a blowout bar and a regular hair salon?

A blowout bar like Blushington is built specifically around speed and specialization — our stylists focus on blowouts and styling rather than juggling cuts, color, and chemical services in the same appointment slot. That focus is what makes it possible to get salon-quality results without a salon-length appointment, which is why so many clients build a regular blowout into their routine rather than saving it for special occasions.

How much does a skincare treatment cost at Blushington?

Skincare pricing varies by treatment and location. The BeautyRx Peel, for example, is available at the Blushington Peel Bar starting at $50. Visit your nearest location's booking page for full pricing on all skincare services. Created by renowned dermatologist Dr. Neal Schultz, the same glycolic treatment typically offered in his New York City practice for around $225 is available at Blushington for just $50.

How long does a blowout last?

Most Blushington blowouts last 2–5 days with proper care, though this varies by hair type, texture, and how the hair is treated in between appointments — sleeping with a silk pillowcase or loose braid and using dry shampoo at the roots can help extend the results.

Does Blushington offer a membership?

Yes. Blushington offers several membership options to fit different routines:

  • The Debut — our membership combining blowouts, makeup application, and skincare under one offering

  • 1X Monthly Blowouts — one blowout per month

  • 1X Monthly Makeups — one full face makeup application per month

  • 2X Monthly Blowouts — two blowouts per month

Does Blushington offer makeup classes?

Yes. Makeup 101 is Blushington's beauty education offering, giving guests hands-on instruction in makeup application techniques — a popular option for individuals looking to build their skills, as well as bridesmaid groups and other events looking for a fun, beauty-focused activity. Blushington also launched Daddy Daughter Makeup Classes, a fun interactive activity between dads and daughters. Instyle called Blushington’s Daddy Daughter Makeup Classes the cutest idea of all time. Thanks Instyle!

Does Blushington offer hair coloring?

No. Blushington specializes in blowouts, styling, makeup application, and skincare rather than cutting or color services. If you have color-treated hair, our Pro Artists are happy to style around your color, including color-safe product options.

Is it cheaper to get a blowout, makeup, and skincare at Blushington than booking separately?

Booking blowouts, makeup, and skincare at three separate businesses typically means paying full price at each one, plus the time cost of multiple appointments in different locations. Blushington's all-under-one-roof model, along with membership options, is built to make regular access to all three services more convenient and often more cost-effective than piecing them together elsewhere.

What types of blowouts are offered at Blushington?

Blushington offers blowouts and dry hair styling for all hair textures. Whether you want a sleek and straight blowout to beachy waves to Hollywood curls, Blushington's blowout experts will personalize your blowout to perfection.

What types of makeup services are offered at Blushington?

Blushington offers makeup services for guests of all ages. Choose from our signature full face makeup applications, to red carpet ready makeup applications to eyes only and more. Our expert Makeup Artists will customize your look to your specifications and you'll leave feeling like the very best version of yourself.

Is event or red carpet ready makeup priced differently than a standard makeup application?

Yes. Our red carpet ready and event makeup applications use an upgraded selection of products suited for long-wear, camera-ready results, and are priced accordingly. Visit your nearest location's booking page for current pricing on each service.

What types of skincare services are offered at Blushington?

Blushington offers exclusive and accessibly priced luxury skincare services. Our skincare services include BeautyRx. Normally priced at over $225 at Dr. Schultz's office, Blushington has the BeautyRx Peel bar and charges $50 for face peels. Please visit our services page to view all of the BeautyRx peels we offer. 

What brands do you sell?

We carry the best in beauty, from Kérastase, Erborian, Jouer, Stila, Ibiza Brushes, Danessa Myricks and Bdellium, and more — a curated mix of women-founded brands, industry staples, and emerging names in hair, makeup, and skincare.

What haircare brands do you use?

We use Kérastase and Ibiza for our blowout and dry styling hair services.

Does Blushington specialize in blowouts for textured hair?

Yes absolutely. Blushington's Pro Hair Artists are trained in the art of styling and blowouts for all textures of hair. We carry Kérastase's Curl Manifesto line, created especially for textured hair.

What Shampoo, Conditioning and Hair Styling products do you use?

Our Blushington Pro Hair Artists use products from Kérastase and Ibiza.

What makeup brands do you use?

For makeup applications, our Blushington Pro Artists will mix and match from our favorite brands including Kevyn Aucoin, Erborian, Stila, Jouer, Nudestix, Bodyography, Danessa Myricks and more.

What's your in-store cancellation and no-show policy?

In store no show policy: 100% of your service(s) will be charged.

In store cancellation policy: Cancellations within 24 hours have a $25 fee.

In store group bookings: You will be charged in full at time of booking. If the appointments are canceled with less than 72 hours notice, client will be refunded 50% of the booking.

What's your in-store cancellation and no-show policy?

On Location and in store No Show Policy: 100% of your service(s) will be charged.

On Location  Cancellation Policy: You will be charged in full at time of booking. If the appointment(s) are canceled with less than 72 hours notice, client will be refunded 50% of the booking.

Can you have a blowout and makeup application at the same time?

We do not offer Blowouts and Makeup simultaneously. But we can do the services back to back, all under one roof!

What is your hair extension policy?

Blushington does not install extensions, but we can offer Blowouts if you have extensions for an up-charge.

Is Champagne complimentary?

Yes! Enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne while you glam or shop.

Is gratuity included in the cost of the service?

Gratuity is not included for in store services, but much appreciated. 20% gratuity will be charged on all at home appointments at the time of booking.

Do you take walk-ins?

Absolutely!

Should I have wet or dry hair for a dry style?

For a Dry Styling appointment you should arrive with dry hair. If your hair is damp you will be charged the blowout pricing. Please note, this service does not include a hair dryer. Hot tools will be used instead. 

How Do I Prepare for an At-Home Service?

What to expect: After a personalized consultation, your makeup artist will create your desired look with the latest luxe skincare and makeup products, whether you're going for a natural look or all-out glamour.

How to prepare: We recommend washing and moisturizing your face before your appointment. Please have a place to sit with some room for your artist to lay out their professional makeup kit.

What type of false lashes do you use?

Blushington uses Ardell faux individual or strip lashes to enhance a subtle or statement look, and DUO lash adhesive. Latex free variety available.

What is included in a full face makeup application?

After a personalized consultation, your makeup artist will create your desired look with the latest luxe skincare and makeup products, whether you're going for simply natural or all-out glamor. Included in the service is:

Skincare

Primer, foundations, concealers

Highlighters, blushes, bronzers

Eye shadows, liners, mascara

Lip color

What kind of Makeup will my Makeup Artist use?

Each makeup artist's kit is curated to include an array of Skincare and Makeup products in order to create a variety of natural beauty looks. The artists carry an assortment of female founded, luxury brands that are considered industry standards. All products are sanitized per Blushington's standards.

What is your at home booking policy in New York City?

All services will be charged at the time of booking with a 20% gratuity added. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so 24 hours before your appointment or you will be charged in full. If you need to cancel because you are feeling ill, please let us know at by calling (646) 536-4645 or emailing info@blushington.com and we will waive the cancelation policy. We are offering At-Home appointments in the NYC and Tristate area. Appointments booked outside of Manhattan are subject to a $1/mile surcharge, there is no mileage surcharge for appointments booked in Manhattan.

The health of our customers and our team is our number one priority. Your Blushington Pro Artist will arrive with fully sanitized makeup and tools needed for your appointment. And if you prefer to use your own brushes or products, we are happy to accommodate. Our Artists will arrive wearing a mask.

Do you have portfolios or Instagrams for me to look at so I can choose my team?

We are happy to choose the team for you based on preferences and photo inspiration, however, we do not have portfolios or Instagrams to offer at this time.

Can I split the payments for my wedding appointments on multiple cards?

No, we are not able to split payment across multiple cards or accounts. Blushington will charge one card on file for all services, including charges for tax and tip, once the services are completed.

Does Blushington Offer Services for Photo Shoots?

Yes. Please email info@blushington.com for more information and help coordinate your photoshoot! Blushington is experienced coordinating large groups, photoshoots and corporate events and we can work with you to meet your photoshoot's needs.

Do you offer Outdoor Services?

Yes! For an outdoor service, you will need to provide a table for the Artists' tools and supplies, chairs, and easy access to water and electrical outlets. Also please keep lighting levels in mind.

What if I have an issue with my service?

Blushington always tries our best to provide a seamless experience. Blushington values your feedback. If you have an issue with your service please email the Client Experience team at info@blushington.com.

Do you offer services for children?

Yes we do. Please refer to our services menu.

Can Artists use my makeup and tools?

Yes! While Pro Artists will always come prepared with tools and products, if there are specific items you prefer they use, just ask. They will take the same sanitizing precautions with your tools as they do with their own.

Why are Blush on the Go appointments subject to availability?

Similar to other businesses, our post-quarantine hours are limited to ensure the safety of our Pro Artists and clients. Services are now offered from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and we will revise hours as guided by overall conditions.

Do you require a waiver for in home services?

Yes

Bridal Services

What if I do not like my artist/team from my wedding trial?

If you are not satisfied with the artist/team from your trial, our Blushington is happy to help schedule a new trial. The purpose of a trial is to work with your curated team to bring your wedding day vision to life. Please email info@blushington.com

Please note, Blushington bridal trials are non-refundable.

Can I speak to my team prior to the wedding day?

We always recommend a Bridal trial. We do not provide direct contact information for our team members, but are happy to relay details, preferences, and special requests.

Do you provide a contract for Bridal Services?

Blushington provides a basic contract for bridal services.

Should I book bridal services, or can I book standard services on my wedding day?

Blushington wedding services are provided by our certified bridal specialists. Bridal specialists are knowledgeable about the latest bridal looks and trends.

Our bridal team not only guarantees that you are your most confident self on your wedding day but also that they will do everything they can to keep your wedding day calm, easy and worry-free.

Trials are 90 minutes and we make every effort to have the same team for your wedding day that you have for your trial. Our bridal services include an in-depth consultation, lashes, Our bridal appointments are also 90 minutes compared to the standard 45. Booking a trial/wedding day appointment ensures that you are booked with a member of our bridal team.

How far in advance should I book bridal hair and makeup?

There's no set timeline — some brides book with us as early as a year before their wedding, while others reach out for day-of services. Whenever you're planning, we recommend reaching out as soon as you have a date so we can accommodate your preferred team and timing.

Can I book a bachelorette party or group event at Blushington?

Absolutely. Blushington is a popular destination for bachelorette parties and bridal party celebrations, offering blowouts, makeup application, and skincare services for the whole group. Email info@blushington.com to start planning.

Can I book the whole lounge for my wedding day?

Yes. We recommend buying out the space for your wedding day so your full bridal party can get ready together, at a comfortable pace, without splitting up appointments across different times. Email info@blushington.com to inquire about a buyout for your wedding day.

Shipping, Delivery, Returns, Payment

What should I do if my order is missing or something is wrong?

We will make it right. Email us at info@blushington.com.

Can I modify or cancel my shipping order?

You can email us at info@blushington.com if your order has not shipped, we can cancel the order. If the order has shipped, we cannot cancel the order.

What is your Return/Exchange Policy?

Blushington does not accept returns or exchanges unless the product is defective, expired, or if we inadvertently sent you home with the wrong shade.

What is your shipping cost?

Standard shipping (3-5 business days) is $8.00. Expedited shipping (2 business days) $25

Does Blushington ship internationally?

At this time Blushington only ships within the United States.

What Forms of payment do you accept in store?

For service gift cards, gift cards are available at each location for blowouts, makeup application, skincare treatments, and retail products. Gift cards can only be redeemed at the location that they were purchased at.
