Dear Blushington Community

We still remember it clearly. Seventeen years ago, our family was getting ready for a bat mitzvah — our mom, our grandma, our aunts, our cousins, all of us packed into our mom's bathroom, passing a single curling iron back and forth, borrowing each other's lipstick, half getting dressed while we did our makeup, laughing about it because there was nothing else to do but laugh. It was chaos, and it was also kind of wonderful — except for the part where there wasn't a single place we could all sit down together and get ready properly. So we did what any two sisters would do: we decided to build one.

Fifteen years ago, that idea became real. We opened our very first lounge in West Hollywood, right along the Sunset Strip, with nothing but a plan and a lot of hope.

We couldn't have imagined what would come next.

Because what we built was never really about the blowouts, or the makeup, or the skincare. It was about the feeling — the one you get when you sit down in that chair and, a little while later, get up feeling like yourself again, only more so. And that feeling only happened because of you: our clients, who trusted us with your wedding mornings, your worst days, and your most ordinary Tuesdays. Our franchise partners, Karen Diaz and Courtney Freels, who believed in this idea enough to bring it to Boca Raton and Houston. Our Pro Artists, who show up every single day and make the feeling real.

So this October, as we turn 15, we don't just want to celebrate ourselves. We want to celebrate you, because you're the whole story.
