Never booked professional Halloween hair and makeup before? Here's exactly what to expect, from the moment you book to the moment you walk out in character.
Before you arrive
- Choose your idea. A character, a mood or a reference photo all work.
- Come with clean hair and a bare face, or as close as you can.
- Bring your wig if your look uses one. Wig styling is available as an add-on.
- Bring your lashes if you'd like them, or plan for them. Faux lashes are not included in the Halloween service.
The first few minutes: your look, planned
Your Pro Artist starts by talking through your idea. What's the character? Where are you going? Will there be a lot of photos? Together you'll settle on colors, intensity and the hair that finishes it.
Makeup
Skin first, so everything that follows looks smooth and lasts through the night. Then the eyes, brows and lips that bring the character to life, built to read in person and on camera.
Hair
Your Pro Artist styles your hair, or your wig, to match: waves, volume, sleek lines or a full transformation.
The finish
A last look in the mirror, a few final adjustments and you're ready. The whole appointment takes 75 minutes.
After you leave
- Take your photos early, while everything is at its freshest.
- Blot, don't wipe, if you need a touch-up.
- Remove makeup gently at the end of the night.
